This is a quick outline of each chapter. I caution those who haven't read the books yet-if you don't want the story spoiled, don't read this! Don't think "Oh, I don't have to read the books, I can just read this," either, because this is very preliminary. It is really worth it to read the books!

Christy Miller is back in southern California and ready to experience normal college life at Rancho Corona University.  Finally she gets to room with Katie and spend quality time with Todd. But after bumping into Matthew Kingsley, whom Christy grew up with in Wisconsin, she suddenly questions her “forever” relationship with Todd.  The situation becomes even more awkward when Katie gets involved.  Then Todd opens up and tells Christy about his childhood-secrets he has never dared to share.  Shaken, she isn’t sure how to respond, or what it means for their future.
